Another study tested the effects of creams containing Ficus carica L. fruit (figs) extract on the skin. This study found that skin formulations containing extract of fig decreased skin melanin (great for fading freckles and dark scars), reduced trans-epidermal water loss (meaning your skin stays hydrated for longer) and reduces skin sebum, making it perfect for those who have oily skin.

Figs naturally contain a lot of vitamin C, another powerful antioxidant that helps even out skin.

With all these great skin benefits of figs, it’s easy to see why we chose fig extract for our Moisturizing Plus Cream. The active fig ingredients and other herbal extracts give excellent relief to dry skin as well as antioxidant protection. Rich and smooth, the cream also offers a 112% increase of collagen.
